EWS Programme

The CGA EWS Programme is a structured social impact initiative designed to make the sport of golf accessible to children from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Through our training wing, we are committed to identifying young talent, nurturing it professionally, and creating equal opportunities in a sport that is often considered financially inaccessible.
Our mission is simple yet powerful — from roots to heights. We believe that financial limitations should never restrict talent. Under this programme, we provide structured, long-term training and complete support so that deserving children can build confidence, discipline, and competitive excellence through golf.

Facilities We Provide

Under the CGA EWS Programme, selected children receive comprehensive, completely free support including:

  • Free Professional Golf Coaching by certified trainers

  • Free Golf Equipment (clubs and necessary gear)

  • Free Golf Balls for Practice

  • Access to Driving Range for regular skill development

  • Free Fitness & Conditioning Training to build strength, flexibility, and stamina

  • Structured monitoring of performance and progress

We ensure that every child receives the same level of technical training and facilities as any professional trainee.

Collaboration with GB Legend

CGA is proud to announce that GB Legend is now officially collaborating with the academy to further strengthen the EWS initiative.

Under this collaboration:

  • GB Legend will work closely with CGA to train and mentor EWS children, ensuring professional guidance, structured skill development, and long-term growth.

  • The focus remains on providing high-quality coaching access to deserving talent, with shared expertise and training resources.

This partnership enhances the overall ecosystem of the EWS Programme and reinforces our commitment to developing future champions.

In addition to player development, CGA also conducted a one-year structured Caddies Training Programme, aimed at professional skill-building and career development within the sport.

Key highlights:

  • Intensive one-year practical and technical training.

  • Exposure to professional golf standards and course management.

  • 4 trained caddies successfully participated in the PGTI Pre Qualifier, marking a significant milestone in their professional journey.

This initiative reflects CGA’s broader vision — creating opportunities not only for players but also for individuals aspiring to build professional careers within the golf ecosystem.

Support from Chandigarh Administration

We are proud to share that the Chandigarh Administration is actively supporting this initiative.

Under this collaboration:

  • 8–10 EWS children are being sponsored and trained by CGA.

  • These students will undergo complete training under our “Roots to Heights” development model.

  • The Administration’s support strengthens our mission of inclusive sports development and ensures sustainability of the programme.

This partnership reflects a shared vision — to empower deserving youth through structured sports education and create pathways for long-term success.

CGA remains dedicated to expanding this initiative year after year. Through structured mentorship, professional coaching, and institutional support, we aim to build champions — not just in golf, but in life.

If you would like to support, collaborate, or enroll deserving candidates under the EWS Programme, we welcome your association in building a stronger sporting future.
